Silane Safety Seminar - 4 & 5 November 2008, IMEC, Leuven, Belgium

During the mid 80's, a series of silane technical & safety seminars were conducted in the US & Europe, creating awareness of potential problems & helped to drastically reduce the number of incidents & their severity. Within the last 10 years, the LCD & PV manufacturers have expanded considerably & during 2008 they will use more silane than the IC companies. Recently, significant incidents involving the use of silane has highlighted the need to conduct the seminars once again.
